Job summary

Autodesk is seeking an analytics/data engineer to transform and maintain architectures for enterprise analytics pipelines. You will build and optimize pipelines for Snowflake/Hive, Python/SQL, and self-serve analytics, while enabling data-driven decision making across cross-functional teams.

You will collaborate with data analysts to deliver scalable, quality data assets, explore AI-assisted development, and implement CI/CD and automation across data domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in the Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data transformation, metadata, data quality, and workload management.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience plus cost optimization.
• Proficient in Python & SQL; knowledge of GitHub & Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop data pipelines for extraction, transformation, cleaning, and loading into Snowflake/Hive.
• Design, test, and maintain pipelines and features per stakeholder needs.
• Create scalable, quality data blocks in collaboration with analysts.
• Optimize workflows and ETL scripts on data warehouses.
• Develop data processing framework components.
• Leverage LLMs/AI tools for development tasks.
• Build data quality and durability tracking across ingestion.
• Translate technical designs into business representations and align with strategy.
• Focus on automation, CI/CD, and self-service modules for data domains.
• Address data consumer questions through appropriate channels.
• Create analytics/BI data tools to enable product leadership.
• Stay current with data engineering practices and technologies.
