Job summary

Dialogue is seeking a Senior Data Platform Developer to design, build, and maintain our modern data platform. You will define engineering best practices, enable power users, and own Snowflake, dbt, and deployment pipelines.

You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Ops, and Finance to onboard users into a self-serve model and drive data governance, observability, and CI/CD across data products. Hybrid work in Canada is supported.

Qualifications

• Production data systems experience with large-volume pipelines.
• Strong data warehouse modelling and semantic layer knowledge.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; familiarity with CI/CD for data repos.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data ingestion and orchestration frameworks.
• Develop and enforce data modelling standards and semantic layers.
• Ensure data quality, observability, and testing across pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data products.
