Job summary

Ledcor Group is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Platform team. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions supporting reporting, analytics, and operational intelligence across Ledcor's construction and infrastructure businesses.

You will work across the full data lifecycle from ingestion to governance. The role requires strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills, experience with Databricks and cloud platforms, and a solid background in data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 6+ years of data engineering experience.
• 5+ years in conceptual, logical and physical data modeling.
• Experience with Inmon, Kimball, and Data Vault methodologies.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL for large-scale data transformations.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Synapse.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Databricks Data Engineer or Azure Data Engineer certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data pipelines.
• Develop metadata-driven ingestion processes and code generation.
• Support data governance, data quality, and validation testing.
• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry standards.
• Build normalized structures and dimensional analytics models.
• Contribute to enterprise modeling standards and data governance.
• Implement security policies with Unity Catalog and access controls.
