Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data solutions across construction and infrastructure businesses. You’ll work on a Databricks-based platform with medallion architecture, partnering with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to deliver trusted data products.

The role requires deep data engineering and modeling expertise, Python/PySpark, and strong communication.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data modeling, or related disciplines.
5+ years designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models with 3NF and dimensional modeling.
Experience with Inmon and Kimball methodologies and SCD design.
Hands-on experience on Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Synapse.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks SDP.
Configure metadata-driven ingestion and automate pipeline creation.
Support IaC deployments and enforce data quality and governance across pipelines.
Model conceptual, logical, and physical data structures with appropriate standards.
Develop enterprise data models and analytics-ready structures with keys and SCD patterns.
Contribute to data governance, security, and access controls using Unity Catalog.
Define automated data quality checks and testing between source and target systems.
