Job summary

Rodan Energy Solutions is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to shape the technical direction of a modern data platform. You will own bronze/silver/gold data layers, extend ingestion pipelines, and work with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to deliver analytics-ready data for energy markets.

You will collaborate with leadership, external data providers, and data teams to implement scalable data architectures, governance, and best practices while driving cost-efficient transformations and data quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering with leadership experience
• Hands-on data warehouse/lakehouse project experience
• Deep Databricks experience
• Medallion architecture understanding
• Strong Python and SQL for end-to-end pipelines
• Clear ability to communicate with business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Extend existing automated ingestion pipelines to meet growing data needs
• Own and expand bronze/silver/gold data pipelines across core sources
• Work in Databricks using PySpark, Delta Lake, and serverless compute
• Establish ingestion patterns and monitor data flows with alerts
• Implement automated data quality checks for reports and models
• Collaborate on governance, schemas, and data ownership
• Guide platform scalability as new data sources are added
