Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and manage data pipelines and assets across Microsoft and Oracle environments. You will integrate large datasets for reporting, dashboards, and analytics using Azure Data Factory, Fabric, and Oracle tools, ensuring high quality and secure data flow.

The role emphasizes data modeling, governance, and collaboration with analytics teams to enable BI solutions and actionable insights using Power BI and Oracle Analytics Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform management.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from Microsoft and Oracle systems.
• Create and manage databases, data warehouses, and data lakes on SQL Server/Azure and Oracle.
• Implement data quality controls, validation rules, and cleansing processes to ensure data integrity.
• Design efficient data models and schemas for analytics and reporting on Azure and Oracle.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to provide curated datasets and assist in dashboards and reports (Power BI).
• Monitor data pipelines and database performance; resolve issues and optimize SQL queries and ETL jobs.
• Design and develop reports and dashboards in Power BI, Fabric, and Oracle Analytics Cloud.
