Job summary

University Health Network seeks a Senior Data Integration Specialist to design, build and operate data pipelines, lakehouse assets and cloud infrastructure within a cross‑functional product squad. You will deliver trusted data products for research administration and operations using Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and open source tools.

Responsibilities include ingestion, transformation, validation and delivery of data across enterprise systems, with emphasis on reliability, security and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics or equivalent.
• 3+ years in data engineering or related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in data engineering contexts.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks and lakehouse concepts.
• Experience using virtual machines for development and operational tasks.
• Experience using GitHub or Bitbucket and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, data quality, troubleshooting and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines, lakehouse assets and curated data products in Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop reliable ingestion and transformation patterns for structured data from enterprise systems.
• Use Microsoft Azure services to support scalable data engineering solutions.
• Configure, manage and support virtual machines for dev/integration/automation tasks.
• Build, run and maintain Docker containers for development and deployment workflows.
• Use GitHub/Bitbucket to manage code, config and documentation.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure data quality and observability.
• Collaborate with product managers, analysts and stakeholders to deliver integrated analytics use cases.
