Job summary

OSEDEA is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines using Microsoft Azure services. You will work directly with clients, translate needs into scalable solutions, and document architectures and processes for reuse.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar environment, strong Python/SQL skills, Spark experience, and fluency in French and English. You will join a team that values rigor, client service, and modern data governance practices.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years in a similar role, preferably in consulting or multi-client environments.
• Proficient in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with Spark and modern architectures (ELT, medallion, star schema).
• Experience in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (Functions, Storage, Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Excellent communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines within the Microsoft ecosystem (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Azure Functions).
• Work directly with clients to understand needs and propose technical solutions.
• Document architectures, transformations, and processes clearly and reuse them.
• Contribute to engineering standards: code quality, data quality, CI/CD, security, performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver stable, scalable data solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and share best practices in data engineering and architecture.
• Implement data extraction by interacting with various APIs to integrate data.
• Oversee deployments, cloud cost, and performance of solutions.
