Job summary

Unit8 in Canada seeks a Managing Director to own both origination and delivery of high-value Data & AI engagements in the Canadian market. You will build relationships with senior clients and lead tech-enabled transformations from start to scale.

You will translate complex problems into solutions and ensure delivery delivers measurable value, while traveling for on-site engagements with clients across Canada.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Data & AI consulting with a verifiable track record of originating and closing major client relationships.
• Currently at Principal or Associate Partner / Director level — or equivalent — with commercial track record and client ownership.
• You don’t need to write code, but you must speak Tech and understand data architecture and AI to raise delivery bar.
• Established network of senior client relationships in the Canadian market, ideally in financial services.
• Willingness to travel and engage on-site engagements.

Responsibilities

• Source, shape, and close high-value engagements in Canada, focusing on new logos.
• Translate complex business problems into concrete Data & AI solutions and ensure value realization.
• Lead complex, tech-enabled transformations from problem definition through scaled delivery.
• Act as the senior point of contact for key clients during delivery, anchoring execution to business value.
• Bridge between a senior data scientist and a C-suite conversation, translating constraints to strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams, removing blockers and coaching them.
