Job summary

Unit8 is seeking a Managing Director to lead the Canadian market, owning both originations and delivery of high-value engagements. You will originate complex, strategic opportunities and ensure successful execution that moves client metrics.

You will bridge senior client leadership with data science teams, maintaining delivery velocity and business value while traveling for on-site engagements across Canada.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Data & AI consulting with a verifiable track record of originating and closing major client relationships.
• You are at Principal or Associate Partner / Director level or equivalent with commercial client ownership.
• You speak Tech and understand data architecture to raise delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Build and convert a pipeline of high-value opportunities in Canada, focusing on pharma, insurance, or chemicals.
• Translate complex problems into Data & AI solutions and ensure delivery creates business value.
• Lead complex, tech-enabled transformations from problem definition to scaled delivery.
• Act as senior contact for key clients, ensuring delivery stays anchored to business value.
• Bridge the gap between data science and C-suite discussions, translating constraints into decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams, removing blockers and coaching them.
