Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for technology, achieving sales targets, and providing excellent customer satisfaction? Join our Technical Sales team as our next Customer Solutions Architect (CSA). In this role, you will connect our customers with industry-leading technology solutions, creating opportunities and solving business challenges in the Commercial Mid-Market segment. This role will be based out of Alberta, and all applicants must reside in Alberta to be considered.

We offer a flexible workstyle, including work-from-home options and customer visits, to help you balance your professional and personal life. As a CSA, you will be crucial in pre-sales architecture and creating comprehensive technology roadmaps. By providing thought leadership and leveraging TELUS' wide range of technology solutions, you will enable our customers to prioritize initiatives and achieve optimal outcomes.

Collaborating closely with our Sales department, you will develop and cultivate relationships at all levels within our customers' organizations, articulating complex ideas and concepts. As a trusted advisor, you will enhance customer satisfaction by presenting a holistic view of how technology can support and enable strategic initiatives. Your business acumen and critical thinking skills will be vital in driving success for both our customers and TELUS.

With effective communication skills, consulting ability, and technical and sales expertise, you excel at identifying the right services to adopt and expand TELUS solutions, demonstrating their positive impact on our customers' business objectives:

  • Advocate for the customer by leveraging TELUS and partner resources
  • Highly organized, capable of managing ambiguous ideas and driving teams toward concrete plans
  • Develop digital transformation roadmaps based on customers’ unique technical environments
  • Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders to stay current on TELUS technology offerings
  • Stay at the forefront of technology and challenge the status quo

What you bring

  • A customer-focused attitude, resilience, and determination to overcome obstacles
  • Understanding of the IT/Telecommunications landscape across Canada
  • 3+ years of experience in solution architecture or technical sales
  • Experience leading workshops, whiteboard discussions, technology roadmaps, and consulting conversations with clients
  • Proven ability to leverage cross-functional resources to lead initiatives or solutions
  • Technical knowledge across portfolios such as Telecommunications, Mobility, Unified Communications, Security, Cloud, and IT Hosting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; viewed as a peer and advisor to executive clients, promoting TELUS solutions as strategic
  • Ability to discuss solutions from both technical and financial perspectives
  • Sales training or account planning experience is a plus
  • Passion for continuous learning and personal development

Salary Range: Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan. Actual total compensation will depend on knowledge, skills, performance, and experience. TELUS offers a comprehensive rewards package, including competitive salary, bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, flexible benefits, pension and share purchase programs, and development opportunities. Please note that compensation may change in 2025.
