Comrise is a fast-growing digital lending startup focused on fair, tech-driven lending. We use traditional & alternative data and advanced analytics to expand access to credit while maintaining strong portfolio health.

We’re looking for a Senior Credit Risk Modeling – Data Science professional to shape our underwriting, fraud strategy, and risk governance as we scale, developing and maintaining predictive models and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 2–7 years of credit risk modeling experience in lending.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling and ML.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SAS; SQL essential.
• Understanding of credit risk concepts and lending processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of credit risk predictive models (PD, LGD, EAD, etc.).
• Perform data analysis and feature engineering to improve models.
• Validate, back-test, and monitor models for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with business and operations to integrate outputs into lending strategies.
• Document model development, validation, and governance for regulatory expectations.
• Provide insights on portfolio risk trends and loss drivers.
• Mentor junior analysts and foster modeling culture.
