Job summary

Master in Calgary is seeking a Senior Credit & Collection Agent to safeguard the financial health of one of Canada's leading HVAC-R distributors. You will collaborate with sales, approve credit-limit exceptions, manage receivables, and release inventory-ready orders.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years in credit/collections, experience with ERP/accounting software, and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. This role offers a hybrid work model and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in a similar credit or collections role, in a commercial environment, or as a Financial analyst.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Agility: collaborate to assess margin increase requests and approve credit-limit exceptions using sound analysis.
• Operational Excellence: manage and collect receivables for your territory and release inventory-ready orders.
• Autonomy & Impact: generate and interpret credit reports to guide decisions and resolve escalated collection cases independently.
• Human-Centered Communication: act as a trusted liaison between internal sales teams and customers with professionalism and empathy.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

• Collaborate with your supervisor to assess margin increase requests
• Approve credit-limit exceptions using sound analysis and business judgment

• Reconcile customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner

What You Bring To Our Team

• College degree in business, accounting, or office admin or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years of experience in a similar credit or collections role, in a commercial environment, or as a Financial analyst
• Experience with accounting/ERP software is a strong asset
• A detail-oriented mindset, a steady hand, and a tactful voice

Compensation Information

• Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually
• Supplemental Pay Types: Annual bonus

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience, in compliance with applicable regulations.
