Job summary

Mainroad Group is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager to lead the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental program across Alberta and BC operations. The role reports to the Director of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental and is based in Calgary/Red Deer/Ponoka/Camrose with field presence.

You will oversee ISO45001/9001/14001 frameworks, manage a Safety team of 5+ Advisors, conduct incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement while traveling to sites across Alberta and British

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years in occupational health and safety with leadership experience.
• Proven track record developing and delivering safety programs and training.
• Relevant professional designation (NCSO/CRSP/CHSC) preferred.
• Post-secondary degree in OH&S or safety management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HSQE management system implementation and continual improvement.
• Lead safety audits, investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training for various group sizes.
• Manage safety advisors and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate COR/ISO audits and regulatory inspections.
