Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment Inc. is seeking a seasoned Corporate Controller to lead the corporate accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and managing monthly/quarterly closes in a SOX-compliant environment.

You will supervise a team, drive process improvements, and oversee intercompany transactions across cross-border LN groups. The role requires a CPA, 10+ years of accounting experience, and strong GAAP/SOX knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with multi-entity, cross-border, and intercompany accounting.
• Familiarity with Canadian indirect tax requirements (GST/HST, PST, QST).
• Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve accounting processes an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly Corporate Reporting packages within tight deadlines.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries per GAAP and policies.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and lead sheets; resolve variances.
• Oversee Banking, A/R, and A/P operations.
• Lead the annual SOX audit and audits requests.
• Maintain accounting policies and SOX/compliance controls.
• Lead the corporate accounting team and drive process improvements.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and cross-border transfers.
