Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in a SOX-compliant environment. You will manage monthly and quarterly closes and develop a high-performing team across multiple entities and cross-border operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory/managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience with multi-entity, cross-border, intercompany accounting.
• Familiarity with Canadian indirect tax requirements (GST/HST, PST, QST).
• ERP systems experience; Oracle Fusion preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve accounting processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly Corporate Reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and timely responses to follow-up queries.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and lead sheets, identifying variances.
• Oversee Banking, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
• Lead the annual SOX audit and manage external audit requests.
• Maintain documented accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Lead and manage the corporate accounting team to meet deadlines.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and cross-border transactions.
