• CPA designation is an asset; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel, and familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Strong analytical ability to reconcile, interpret, and assess financial data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the corporate accounting team through month-end and year-end close processes; ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
• Support the Financial Controller in monthly financial statements and reporting deliverables.
• Prepare documentation, reconciliations, and schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Assist in leading the annual financial statement audit with external auditors.
• Review monthly journal entries and support complex transactions.
• Assist in cash forecast preparation and development of forecast assumptions.
• Support quarterly reporting deliverables, covenant reporting, and Board materials.
• Assist in equipment financing analysis and capital lease schedules.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable; ensure accurate posting and timely collections.
• Evaluate processes and controls to drive efficiency and scalability.
