Job summary

Critical Mass in Toronto is seeking a senior creative with rich copywriting experience and demonstrated leadership to guide campaigns from brief to final review. You’ll deliver clear, compelling copy and mentor peers, collaborating across disciplines to solve client briefs with speed, accuracy and style.

The role blends independent contribution with team leadership, demanding a sharp eye for cultural trends and technology, and the ability to present ideas persuasively to clients and internal

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of agency experience.
  • Experience mentoring other creatives.
  • Experience working with production vendors (video production, video editing, voiceover, mix).
  • Ability to present, defend and sell creative work internally and externally.
  • Written for multiple mediums and tones of voice.

Responsibilities

  • Drive development of creative ideas to solve client briefs, solo or with partners.
  • Write clear, compelling copy that supports campaign objectives and resonates with audiences.
  • Stay on top of cultural trends and technology developments as they pertain to the work.
  • Collaborate across disciplines with art directors, designers, and other specialists to meet client needs.
  • Move from brief kickoff to high-caliber work ready for review.

Toronto: $75,000-$90,000

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
