Our Toronto office is looking for a Manager – Integrated Media—a proactive, results-oriented public relations professional who excels as a day-to-day client contact and tactical workstream leader. In this role, you will work within integrated account teams to execute earned media strategies, manage creator programs, and leverage data, social listening, and analytics to deliver measurable business results for iconic consumer and corporate brands. You will also serve as a key resource during reputation-critical moments, supporting with the execution of rapid-response crisis communication strategies across all media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Integrated Media & Campaign Execution Support development of integrated media plans, story angles, and outreach strategies across legacy media, digital outlets, and social platforms.
  • Craft compelling, news-making storytelling materials including press releases, messaging frameworks, pitch letters, Q&A, client briefing notes, and social copy across consumer and corporate communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with target journalists, editors, producers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across consumer, lifestyle, corporate, and trade media landscapes.
  • Partner with digital, creative, and influencer teams to ensure earned strategies seamlessly integrate across paid, owned, and creator platforms.
  • Understand the industry landscape and issues that directly and indirectly impact our clients.
  • Actively monitor news cycles and social media trends to identify real-time news hooks and culturally relevant entry points for client brands.
Social Media & Influencer Ecosystem Management
  • Identify, vet, and manage creator relationships aligned with brand goals, safety standards, and audience demographics.
  • Handle end-to-end influencer execution, including contract negotiations, creative briefing, content review, and post-campaign performance reporting.
  • Partner with social and digital teams to ensure creator assets and earned wins translate across client‑owned social channels.
Measurement, Analytics & Intelligence
  • Conduct media landscape analyses, competitor benchmarks, and social listening to inform strategy and story development.
  • Manage daily and campaign‑specific media monitoring, tracking, and crisis/issues reporting to identify reputational risks early and keep client leads informed.
  • Build clear campaign evaluation reports and dashboard updates, analyzing earned media reach, social engagement, and creator performance against client KPIs.
Account Management & Operational Delivery
  • Serve as a key day‑to‑day client contact across assigned accounts, managing project timelines, status agendas, deliverables, and campaign trackers.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations, communicating with clients on a daily basis and providing thoughtful counsel where applicable.
  • Support event execution, product mailers, consumer brand activations, and press events.
  • Mentors and coaches more junior team members, helping to cultivate their skills and drive results.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Integrated Media & Platform Expertise: Strong knowledge of Canada's news media landscape, modern social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X), and creator trends, with skill in using media monitoring and listening tools.
  • Media Relations & Influencer Execution: Proven track record of securing earned media coverage and managing end-to-end creator partnerships that deliver measurable results across digital and traditional channels.
  • Analytics & Crisis Reporting: Proven ability to conduct landscape analysis, use media intelligence and social listening tools (e.g., Cision, Meltwater, Brandwatch, CreatorIQ), build coverage reports, and deliver clear crisis/issues monitoring updates.
  • Client Relations & Account Management: Experience serving as a reliable day‑to‑day client contact across multi-faceted campaigns.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-oriented; able to anticipate executional roadblocks and resolve executional issues quickly.
  • Operational & Financial Discipline: Strong organizational skills with experience tracking project budgets, managing deliverables to tight deadlines, and maintaining detail-oriented reporting.
  • Collaborative Energy: Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with experience working across cross-functional agency teams and contributing positive energy to team dynamics.
  • Written Communication: Exceptional writing and editing skills across diverse formats—media pitches and messaging frameworks, client presentations, and influencer briefs.
  • Public relations experience of 4+ years.
  • Agency experience is an asset.
  • University degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.

$65,000 - $75,000

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
