Job summary

Valsoft Corporation is seeking a Senior Controller to own revenue recognition and technical accounting across multiple entities. You will drive automation and data work powering our finance function and partner closely with the CFO and auditors.

The role targets a CPA with 5+ years’ experience, IFRS expertise, and a passion for data-driven finance in a fast-growing payments/AI environment in Montreal. Hybrid work and cross-border collaboration are supported.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or international equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with technical accounting ownership.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and multi-entity consolidation experience.
• Curiosity for data, systems, automation and AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition and complex accounting entries across entities under IFRS.
• Review and approve intercompany entries and consolidation processes.
• Set and enforce technical accounting policy across jurisdictions.
• Lead multi-entity close and build scalable processes.
• Develop automation and data infrastructure linking usage, billing and settlements.
