Job summary

Aecon Concessions in Toronto is seeking a Sr. Contracts Administrator to support commercial and contract management on major civil projects. You’ll work with project teams to manage issues, changes, schedules, and procurement, ensuring deliverables and contractual obligations are met.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of contracting experience, a degree in legal, engineering or quantity surveying, and strong negotiation skills. SAP and MS Office proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working for a contractor on large-scale projects.
• Knowledge of construction law and contract drafting is preferred.
• Experience with procurement processes, tendering and contract closeout is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with project delivery teams to manage commercial/contractual issues.
• Handle change management including schedule interpretation and claims administration.
• Maintain contract filing system and administer project contracts (agreements, consultancy, purchase agreements).
• Ensure all deliverables and timelines are met and manage commercial risk on contracts.
• Draft, review and negotiate downstream agreements.
