Aecon is seeking a Director of Project Controls for a major heavy civil infrastructure project in Ontario. The role requires leading project controls teams, establishing cost structures, schedules, and performance curves for large-scale delivery in the Kawartha Lakes and Barrie regions.

The successful candidate will oversee cost and schedule variance analysis, integrate risk into forecasts, and report weekly to executives, with proficiency in Primavera P6, SAP, InEight, Excel, and Power BI.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree as stated in the qualifications.
• 15+ years total experience in relevant fields.
• 7+ years in project controls on large-scale heavy civil projects.
• Experience supervising large project controls teams across multiple disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and govern the Project Controls Plan and cost/schedule baselines.
• Lead and support project controls specialists across cost, scheduling, risk, and reporting.
• Oversee variance analysis, root-cause analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Maintain WBS, cost breakdown structures, and risk registers aligned with contracts.
• Manage progress measurement, earned value, and change control processes.
• Lead risk management and integrate forecasts with overall program plans.
• Produce executive dashboards and maintain data quality in Primavera P6, SAP, InEight, Excel, and Power BI.
