Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join its North America Contract Management team. You will lead contractual activities for major hydroelectric projects in British Columbia, from bidding through execution and warranty.

Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop contract strategies, manage risk, support negotiations, and oversee changes and claims to protect GE Vernova’s commercial interests.

Qualifications

• Eight years minimum of contract management experience in complex projects (EPC, construction, infrastructure or energy).
• Experience with Canadian energy or infrastructure sector and public-sector clients preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; excellent negotiation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contract management from bid preparation through execution, close-out, and warranty.
• Draft, review and tailor commercial/contractual clauses; negotiate with customers, partners, suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Develop and implement contract strategies; lead changes, claims and dispute management.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Finance, Legal and other functions to ensure governance and risk mitigation.
