Job summary

GE Vernova in Canada is seeking a Project Manager Construction and Commissioning (PMCC) to lead field operations across project phases, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. The role requires strong site-management experience, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with travel to sites about 25% of the time.

Fluency in English and French is preferred, along with a background in hydroelectric projects or mechanical/electrical engineering.

Qualifications

• Quality management focus and continuous improvement.
• Strong hydroelectric background or related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in site work strategy with project leaders.
• Plan mobilization activities and required resources.
• Lead mobilization tollgate reviews and document control.
• Track safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.
• Manage site packages (piping, electrical, scaffolding, etc.).
• Prepare RFQs and purchase requests for site works.
