Job summary

Vanderlande North America, part of Toyota Automated Logistics Group, seeks a Contract Manager to oversee risk management, claims resolution, and contract processes for customer agreements and subcontractors. You will join the Project Execution team and lead contract negotiations and compliance efforts across complex logistics projects.

The role requires extensive experience in contract management, procurement, and construction law, with strong negotiation and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in contract management, procurement or related legal/business functions, with focus on large infrastructure projects in airport/aviation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of contract and construction law and international regulations affecting airport infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction management and contract management software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust contract management processes and standards for project teams to comply with contract requirements.
• Develop tools and audits for contract management adherence and performance.
• Support subcontractor management with compliance oversight and standard tools.
• Ensure teams comply with customer contract requirements and deliverables.
• Develop claim strategies for customer and subcontract claims or defenses.
• Optimize change order processes to maximize revenue within contractual limits.
• Manage contract configuration and document management.
• Identify risks and issues related to contract non-compliance.
• Provide training on contract topics and adherence best practices.
• Interact with legal, procurement, operations, and finance teams as primary contract contact.
