Job summary

Moneris, based in Etobicoke, Canada, is seeking an experienced Workday specialist to lead the design, configuration, enhancement and ongoing support across HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Reporting and Integrations. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with mentoring and cross‑functional collaboration to improve user experience and data quality.

You will configure and optimize Workday modules, partner with stakeholders on processes, develop reports and dashboards, and deliver training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting Workday HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Reporting, Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
• Completed post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
• Experience contributing to the successful delivery of HR technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of Workday modules, serving as a subject matter expert for the platform.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure Workday is configured to support business processes, requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions that enhance Workday functionality and user experience.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system, application, and integration issues.
• Maintain HR data integrity by implementing validation controls and data quality monitoring.
• Develop and deliver Workday training and user support resources.
• Create custom reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision-making.

This role leads the design, configuration, enhancement, and support of Workday to deliver an intuitive user experience and enhanced reporting capabilities for managers and administrators. The scope includes HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Reporting, and Integrations. This is a hands‑on role responsible for system maintenance and continuous improvement, while providing technical leadership through mentoring and coaching team members. Location: You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in‑office collaboration with remote flexibility. Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, HR Technology Posting Type: Replacement. Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $ $107,000 to $140,000. Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Create custom reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision‑making and provide meaningful insights to HR leadership. Collaborate with internal IT teams on complex technical solutions, integrations, and recurring system requirements. Provide technical leadership through mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing to support team growth and the development of scalable solutions.
