About the role
Our Mobility Team is growing, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Consultant, Global Mobility to join our dynamic team based in Montreal. Our company is committed to supporting the global movement of our employees, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the overall mobility experience. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional with a passion for global mobility and for driving excellence. As a Senior Consultant, Global Mobility, you will play a critical role in leading global mobility projects and initiatives as well as design and implementation of policies, practices, and programs that align with the company's strategic business needs. You will collaborate with diverse teams and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful domestic and international movements of employees.
What you'll do here:
Lead strategic projects to enhance process efficiency, service delivery and governance frameworks.
Design, implement, and maintain global mobility policies and programs that align with the company's strategic goals.
Manage end-to-end service delivery, ensuring policies, processes, and vendor partnerships (immigration, tax, relocation, etc.) are effectively structured and governed.
Act as subject matter expert and primary contact for complex global mobility cases, offering comprehensive support throughout the assignment lifecycle.
Coach and mentor team members, fostering an outperformance culture and continuous improvement mindset.
Develop, manage and nurture strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to ensure seamless mobility operations.
Stay current on global mobility trends by participating in industry surveys and monitoring changes in immigration, tax, labor laws, regulations, and other relevant legislation.
Develop and provide training and presentations to Business Units and HR community to proactively create awareness.What you bring to the table
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Administration, or a related field.
Experience in HR, compensation, tax, or any related field, including at least 7 years of specialized experience in Global Mobility.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in situations involving simultaneous demands and rapid change.
High degree of autonomy, resourcefulness, and strategic thinking.
Rigorous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Results-oriented with a focus on action and implementation.
Ability to handle confidential information with great discretion.
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingualism in French and English is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
