Job summary

MNP is seeking a Senior Consultant for Consulting - Human Resources in Edmonton to help integrate HR insights into client strategy, structure, systems and processes.

The role focuses on delivering engagements, leading teams, and expanding client relationships while traveling as needed. You will advise leaders, design HR programs and contribute to business development within a dynamic Canadian practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, organizational development, organizational psychology, behavioural sciences or related field.
• 4 to 5 years of progressive human resources experience in entrepreneurial or changing environments.
• Experience building and rolling out HR programs.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Propose, plan and deliver consulting engagements with a focus on organization and people services in the private and not-for-profit sectors.
• Provide HR support to clients on a fractional basis including building and rolling out HR systems, processes and tools, advising leaders and responding to issues.
• Execute projects related to talent management, performance management, human resource strategy and policy development, compensation, change management, organizational review and design.
• Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders.
• Conduct detailed research and data collection, interviews, focus groups and surveys.
• Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and consolidate results to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
• Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow.
• Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports and presentations.
• Lead engagement teams, coaching and mentoring junior team members.
• Participate in business development initiatives and prepare/ deliver competitive proposals.
• Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.

• 4 to 5 years of progressive human resources experience, ideally in a entrepreneurial and/or changing environment
• Experience building and rolling out HR programs
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
