Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Scheduling Manager in Toronto to develop and maintain CPM schedules across diverse projects. You will lead scheduling efforts, analyze critical paths, and drive on-time project completion using established company standards.

You will manage risk via Earned Value, coordinate with project teams, and ensure timely reporting of progress and schedule changes. Travel/relocation may be required. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering preferred.
• 10+ years scheduling experience with at least 3 years leading scheduling teams.
• Proficient in developing and analyzing schedules in Primavera P6.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare progress reports for each assigned project.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, job specifications and contracts.
• Identify and report on variations in the schedule in a timely manner.
• Lead project teams through proper setup and maintenance of schedules.
• Evaluate project risk using the Earned Value Management system.
• Update schedules monthly and develop what-if schedules.
