Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking a Project Planner to develop and monitor schedules for engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning.

You will use Primavera P6 and Prism G2 to analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and to generate progress reports and performance indicators for project teams and management.

The role offers a regular, hybrid schedule with travel potential for EPCM projects and collaboration across offices in Canada and internationally.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree.
• At least seven years of relevant experience in industrial/mining sectors.
• Knowledge of design and construction processes.
• Very good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6.
• Advanced English and French to collaborate with offices and clients in Canada and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioning.
• Plan, organize and monitor projects using Primavera P6 and Prism G2.
• Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study manager.
• Generate progress reports and produce performance indicators.
• Update schedules, both weekly and monthly.
• Prepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and scheduling.
• Maintain all planning and progress reports.
• Propose solutions to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedules.
• Exercise independent judgement in data analysis from various sources.
• Carry out other related tasks to help deliver projects.
