Job summary

Pomerleau, a national leader in construction, seeks a senior Scheduler for its APEX team in Victoria, BC. You will develop, maintain, and analyze master schedules, integrating cost, resource, risk, procurement, and progress data to support project decision-making on large-scale builds.

This permanent full-time role requires expertise across CPM, P6, and MS Project. The role involves coordinating with project, field, engineering, finance, and procurement teams to establish baselines, forecast

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive construction scheduling and controls experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; CPM-based baseline schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, drawings, and requirements to define scope and WBS.
• Develop and maintain integrated baseline schedules for design, procurement, construction, testing, and closeout using CPM.
• Update schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project with field data; validate progress and forecasts.
• Perform resource and cost loading, track budgets and cash flow, conduct earned value analyses.
• Develop progress measurement systems, dashboards, and weekly/monthly reports.
• Identify schedule impacts, analyze delays, and support change and claims.
• Maintain change, claims, and risk registers; define preventive actions.
• Coordinate vendor and subcontractor schedules; oversee long-lead procurement.
• Lead planning meetings and communicate priorities to stakeholders.
• Manage scheduling and controls for multiple projects.
