Job summary

Bird Construction seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects greater than $30 million, accountable for budget, schedule, quality, project status, and adherence to company policies. Based in the Edmonton office with support across the GTA, you will guide a project team and ensure performance aligns with Bird’s standards.

You will manage subcontracts, payments, and reporting to senior management, while fostering client relations and developing future construction professionals

Qualifications

• Experience leading large institutional/commercial projects.
• Strong budget, schedule and cost-control abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and coordinate daily management of projects >$30M.
• Manage prime/subcontractors and negotiate contracts.
• Control project budget, billings and payments with accounting.
• Monitor safety and implement Bird Safety Program.
• Provide monthly/quarterly performance reporting to senior management.
