Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple trades, establishing performance targets and ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

You will lead a team of superintendents, coordinate schedules, resources, and procurement, and drive long-term project objectives while upholding Ledcor's safety standards and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of powerline construction experience in a leadership role
• Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of construction practices, contracts and budgets
• Ability to recognize and analyze key issues and patterns in complex situations
• Ability to develop and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Experience leading multi-discipline teams on large projects

Responsibilities

• Ensure superintendents have resources to complete projects safely per plans and codes
• Develop and implement quality policies and procedures
• Promote safety on projects and address safety issues at senior management level
• Lead development of complex project schedules and resource management
• Ensure manpower, materials, tools and resources meet project schedules
• Assist estimating with labour requirements and execution plans
• Lead subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, and negotiations
