Job summary

Ledcor Construction, Inc. seeks an Electrical Superintendent to lead the Industrial division across Western Canada. You will oversee safe, efficient execution of piping and electrical activities, driving field excellence from planning through turnover.

You will champion safety and environmental stewardship, manage crews, subcontractors and trades, and ensure projects meet schedule, budget and quality targets on major industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 8 years of supervision on industrial or large-scale projects.
• Journeyperson Electrician certification or engineering background required.
• Proven leadership experience managing crews of 50+ electricians.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety measures meet corporate policies and legislation.
• Lead electrical construction activities including installation and turnover.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, subcontractors, schedules and quality.
• Hire and support hourly employees with project managers.
• Supervise, train and mentor project team members.
• Communicate effectively with staff, trades and clients.
• Ensure work complies with plans, codes and quality standards.
• Review contracts, identify risks, support budgets and profitability.
• Develop 30/60/90-day look-ahead schedules and milestones.
• Lead safety, scheduling and stakeholder meetings; maintain documentation.

Education

Journeyperson Electrician certification

Post-secondary diploma or engineering degree
