PowerCo Canada Inc. seeks a Senior Specialist, Construction in St. Thomas, ON to lead large-scale construction projects. You will guide static architecture and infrastructure efforts, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure safety, standards, and schedule adherence.

You will mentor engineers, review drawings, manage risk, and drive projects from planning through closeout in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• P.Eng or P.E. preferred.
• +8 years in construction with industrial facilities.
• Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering efforts for large-scale construction projects, focusing on static architecture and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate construction activities to align with design specifications, standards and safety protocols.
• Review drawings and project documents to ensure regulatory compliance and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and documentation for compliance.
