Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Halton in Milton, ON seeks a compassionate Senior Companion to provide in-home companionship and support for seniors, helping maintain independence and quality of life.

You will assist with daily activities, accompany clients to appointments and social events, monitor changes in well‑being, and report to the care team. Training is provided and the role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or companion care is an asset.
• Genuine passion for working with seniors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with empathy.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with professional attitude.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is an asset.
• Ability to pass DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment.
• Strong English communication (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening required.

• Provide respite support to family caregivers as needed.
• Maintain accurate client care records and documentation in accordance with company standards.
