Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Halton in Milton, ON is seeking a Senior Companion to provide compassionate in-home care and meaningful companionship to seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments and social events, and monitor health with the care team.

The role includes initial training and flexible scheduling to fit family needs, with a focus on safety, dignity, and well-being for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset
• Genuine passion for working with seniors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle considered an asset
• Ability to pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening required

• Provide respite support to family caregivers as needed.
• Maintain accurate client care records and documentation in accordance with company standards
