Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Senior Communications Specialist is responsible for leading internal and external communications and supporting key learning and development initiatives that reflect Lindt Canada’s brand, values, and culture.
This role ensures employees are informed and engaged, helps strengthen Lindt’s employer brand externally, and supports employee development through effective communication and learning coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies that support employee engagement and business goals
- Create compelling written content and communication materials for various channels and platforms
- Manage internal communication platforms including SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Teams
- Coordinate and support virtual and in-person company events including Town Halls and monthly business updates
- Facilitate internal meetings and presentations, serving as host or co-host when needed
- Align internal messaging with external employer brand communications by partnering with the Brand and Marketing teams
- Develop and manage content calendars and posts for LinkedIn and other employer branding channels
- Support the delivery and logistics of in-person and virtual learning programs
- Coordinate onboarding and training schedules, and maintain learning platforms including Talent LMS and Chocolate Essentials
- Assist with the creation of business and culture presentations and award submissions for industry recognition
- Serve as liaison with the global communications team and support the communication strategy for the annual employee survey
- Manage employee recognition programs including Star Awards and Purpose Awards
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in corporate or internal communications
- Exceptional writing and public speaking skills
- Strong organization, planning, and time management capabilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Project management experience
- Bilingualism in French is considered an asset
