Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Commercial Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead a high-performing sourcing team for SCADA and metering equipment. You will own financials, develop sourcing strategy, and manage supplier relationships to align with project delivery and technical requirements.

This leadership role interfaces with engineering, proposal, and Enterprise Procurement, ensuring cybersecurity and regulatory considerations are integrated into procurement decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement and contract negotiation experience in the energy sector.
• Prior people-leadership experience with a track record of building high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to evaluate and mitigate risk related to price, schedule, and quality.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and knowledge of equipment and service contracts for major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with suppliers, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and grow a high-performing equipment sourcing team dedicated to SCADA and metering procurement.
• Own and manage equipment financials—forecasting, revenue, COGS, and margins.
• Develop and execute an equipment sourcing strategy across supplier spend, capacity, and risk.
• Own supplier relationship management, including terms, performance, and pricing.
• Build and improve core sourcing processes across the project lifecycle.
• Translate technical specs into sourcing requirements with engineering teams.
• Incorporate supply chain cybersecurity and regulatory considerations in sourcing decisions.
• Partner with Enterprise Supply Chain on onboarding, pricing, logistics, ERP enablement, and KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to Ulteig’s Supplier Management program across sourcing activities.
• Maintain market intelligence on pricing, lead times, and contractual terms.
