Job summary

Westland Insurance Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Commercial Marketer for our Burlington, ON office. This hybrid role supports commercial insurance marketing initiatives and collaborates with account managers and executives to position products effectively.

The role requires experience in Commercial Insurance, a RIBO license, and strong communication skills, with the ability to work across markets including London and USA brokers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Commercial Insurance experience (sales, account manager or marketer role).
• RIBO License.
• Strong working knowledge of London Markets and in-house authorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing submissions, proposals, presentations, and summaries of our commercial insurance programs.
• Be an in-house expert, sharing knowledge of current market and carrier appetites.
• Build strong relationships with carriers/underwriters.
• Attend industry events and network.
• Collaborate with brokers in the USA and London to place international and cross-border accounts.
• Inspire, coach and mentor other Commercial team members through the submission process.

Expected Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this role is $81,600.00 to $102,000.00 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.
