Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead contract management, procurement and commercial risk on major infrastructure programmes in Canada. You will drive profitability, oversee subcontract governance, and provide executive reporting to clients and project leadership.

You have 10+ years in commercial management, strong contract law knowledge, and a proven track record on projects >$1B. This role supports on-site Saskatoon with a flexible hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 10+ years in commercial management for large-scale infrastructure or real estate projects.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation, claims management, and dispute resolution on projects exceeding $1B.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement strategies, and commercial risk management.
• Familiarity with NEC, FIDIC, or similar contract frameworks.
• Experience with EPC, EPCM, construction, and mining contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with project objectives and client requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Support business decisions through financial and commercial analysis.
• Lead contract preparation, review, negotiation and administration.
• Oversee major contracts, supplier agreements and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with legal, finance and project controls teams for reporting.
