Job summary

Reliance Insurance in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Executive to manage an established portfolio of VIP commercial clients and deliver high‑level advisory services. The role emphasizes trusted relationships, coverage strategy, and long‑term stewardship in a mainly office‑based setting with client meetings as needed.

You will work with underwriters and internal teams, ensure renewals and endorsements are handled smoothly, and leverage a dedicated administrative team to focus

Qualifications

• CAIB 2 / Level 2 BC Insurance license / CIP designation is required
• 10+ years of experience in commercial insurance broking is required
• Ontario RIBO licence is an asset, with support to obtain it from Reliance Insurance

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of VIP commercial clients, ensuring strong relationships and continuity of service
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing advice and guidance on renewals and coverage discussions
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and generate new business where appropriate
• Coordinate renewals, endorsements, and ongoing policy servicing with the support of a dedicated administrative team
• Work closely with underwriters and internal teams on placement, coverage updates, and changing client needs
