As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will influence technical decisions, challenge approaches, and help shape HOOPP's cloud security strategy in a multi-cloud environment.

You'll partner with Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, and project teams to embed secure-by-design principles across the cloud lifecycle, focusing on AWS and Azure while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; professional security or cloud certifications are assets.
• 7+ years in information technology and cybersecurity with cloud security experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance cloud security controls across AWS and Azure environments.
• Embed secure-by-design principles throughout the cloud lifecycle and enable scalable solutions.
• Provide strategic security guidance on cloud architectures, platforms, and capabilities.
• Identify, assess, and remediate cloud security risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
• Enhance logging, monitoring, threat detection, and automation to improve visibility and response.
• Collaborate with Security Operations to investigate events and drive effective resolutions.
• Evaluate adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, to improve security outcomes.
