Job summary

FCT, a leading provider in title insurance and related services across Canada, is seeking an Analyst, Cloud Platform and Services. You will guide information, advice, and direction to leadership and technical teams, ensuring policies and procedures are thorough and aligned with business needs.

In this role you will contribute to projects and day-to-day operations of various systems, communicating clearly about work, productivity, and status.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of practical and technical IT knowledge.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with PowerShell, Terraform and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of security best practices and IAM.
• Experience with Windows technologies and protocols (AD, Intune, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SMB).

Responsibilities

• Ability to support a variety of technologies, business departments and systems, and independently resolve problems and pro-actively communicate solutions
• Remain current on IT issues by acquiring and maintaining knowledge of relevant products and initiatives
• Research tools and processes to evaluate their usefulness to departmental and corporate needs
• Support department policies by providing technically accurate solutions to end users within the provided guidelines
• Enhance the quality and efficiency of the Technical Services team by participating in team projects and initiatives
• Ensure the delivery, availability and provide subject matter technical expertise on infrastructure in support of project initiatives
• Investigate and participate as a 3rd level SME in resolution of system problems to ensure maximum availability of the infrastructure and systems
• Review, maintain and provide ongoing improvements to the general environment for all hardware and software
