Job summary

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is seeking a bilingual IT Infrastructure Leader to drive end-to-end platform operations for cloud services and PaaS. You will guide security, CI/CD, automation, and governance while mentoring senior staff and aligning roadmaps with enterprise goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration, regulatory awareness, and strong communication in both official languages to explain risks and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years IT infrastructure experience in cloud/platform operations or hybrid environments.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Proven experience leading PaaS/cloud platform operations in large/regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure PaaS services and risk management.
• Experience with automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Strong cloud security, identity, logging, monitoring, and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent bilingual communication in English and French.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operational accountability for PaaS/cloud services, including availability, performance, security, and resilience.
• Lead ITSM processes (incident, problem, change, capacity) using ServiceNow as escalation point.
• Set standards and guardrails for Azure PaaS, automation, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Ensure cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management, logging, and audit readiness.
• Deliver platform initiatives: modernization, automation, self-service, security enhancements, governance.
• Translate architecture to prioritized platform roadmaps and manage dependencies and risk.
• Provide people leadership to senior specialists and build capability across the team.
