Job summary

PwC Canada is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Developer to design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes Kubernetes across AKS, EKS, and GKE, plus serverless patterns with Google Cloud Functions and AWS Lambda.

You will secure hybrid/multi-cloud networking, implement Terraform IaC, and manage secrets with Vault and cloud secret managers, guiding junior engineers and aligning with client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven Cloud Engineer experience with solution architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise in AKS/EKS/GKE.
• Experience with PaaS like Google Cloud Functions and AWS Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in managed cloud offerings.
• Develop serverless apps with Google Cloud Functions and AWS Lambda.
• Architect and manage hybrid/multi-cloud networking.
• Implement network security measures: Cloud VPNs, security groups, firewalls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Argo, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Apply authentication/authorization patterns (SSO, OAuth, IAM).
• Use Terraform to manage cloud resources and secrets with Vault/KeyVault.
