Job summary

TD is seeking a Senior Cloud Support Lead in Toronto to maintain and modernize the Treasury Analytics data platform. You will work with Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, MongoDB, and Spark-based pipelines, guiding data engineers and developers through design, delivery and production readiness.

You will collaborate with architects, security and operations teams, lead technical decision-making, and ensure scalable, resilient solutions aligned with TD’s enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of relevant technology experience with enterprise platforms.
• Strong Java development experience including Spring Boot and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain cloud-native data platform solutions on Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, MongoDB.
• Lead Spark-based data ingestion, transformation, and serving for batch and near-real-time workloads.
• Drive modernization from Hadoop-based platforms to Azure-based lakehouse architecture.
• Define technical direction for platform components, data models, CI/CD, resiliency and observability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Support automation, DevOps practices, performance tuning, security controls, and operational reliability.
• Own end-to-end technical support for assigned workstreams and ensure secure, scalable production readiness.
