Job summary

TD Bank Group in Toronto is seeking a Data Engineer to join the CPB Data team. You will design and build scalable data pipelines, onboard new sources, and ensure data quality and security across the Azure Databricks and Delta Lake stack.

You will collaborate with analytics, governance, and product teams to deliver reliable data products that power analytics, AI, and reporting. Strong Python, Spark, SQL, and networking fundamentals are essential, as is a passion for end-to-end ownership.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and debugging data pipelines on Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, and Delta Lake.
• Strong programming skills in Python, plus Spark and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Solid grounding in relational databases and SQL, with the ability to provision and troubleshoot access.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and API authentication patterns for secure data flows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and debug Databricks notebooks and ETL pipelines.
• Onboard new data sources end-to-end into the ingestion framework.
• Establish secure connectivity to source systems and manage access across technologies.
• Write secure, high-performance ETL code with Python, Spark, and PySpark on Azure stack.
