Job summary

FCC is seeking a Senior Data Developer to build cloud-based data and analytics solutions that enable reliable data movement, integration, reporting and decision-making across the organization.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy complex data solutions using AWS technologies and infrastructure as code, while mentoring peers and collaborating with stakeholders. This role offers hybrid work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Minimum seven years of software development experience.
• Experience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AWS technologies: Glue, Step Functions, S3, Redshift, Quicksight, Lambda, EventBridge, AppFlow.
• Languages: Python, PySpark, TypeScript, SQL.
• Knowledge of design patterns and coding best practices.
• Experience enabling analytics-driven business value.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop new code, including automation and tests.
• Utilize AWS frameworks and infrastructure as code (CDK).
• Design and implement scalable data solutions and data models.
• Lead design reviews, contribute to architecture, and mentor peers.
• Explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with analytics users and data science teams using cloud-native development.
