Job summary

FCC is seeking a seasoned Technology Architect to provide technical direction and informal leadership across a broad portfolio of modern technology solutions, including AWS and SaaS platforms. You will shape roadmaps, assess opportunities, and partner with architects, internal teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable solutions for a complex enterprise.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, stakeholder collaboration and a strong ability to translate business needs into practical technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics or engineering.
• At least ten years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading technology implementations, technology assessments or platform modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of modern technology solutions and platforms including third-party applications, SaaS environments and AWS.
• Understanding of enterprise IT architecture, including systems and integration architecture, APIs, data flows and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture guidance and roadmap input across a broad product and platform portfolio, including AWS and SaaS products.
• Embed governance, security, risk and compliance principles into designs for assigned products and services.
• Guide system and data integration design, data ownership and authoritative data sources.
• Oversee data development and engineering teams to build secure, scalable data pipelines.
• Influence architecture decisions for maintainability, upgrades and integration across enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on documentation, support and procurement activities.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and AI-related opportunities to inform planning.
